EMENTA. Seminários de temas relevantes e contemporâneos em Ciência da Informação e de pesquisas interdisciplinares, relacionados à linha de pesquisa Comunicação, Organização e Gestão da Informação e do Conhecimento, visando um debate e reflexão sobre as temáticas apresentadas.

CONTEÚDO PROGRAMÁTICO. Identificar e analisar historicamente o percurso disciplinar da ciência da informação, sob a perspectiva temporal da evolução, duração e relação dos eventos históricos, incluindo os períodos relativos às teorias da informação; aos marcos da sociedade da informação; à bibliografia e documentação; à trajetória epistemológica, contribuições científicas, correntes teóricas, paradigmas, tendências e mudanças no campo; aos pioneiros e pensadores; e à interdisciplinaridade da ciência da informação.
